Godly Play Door Person Training Saturday 3rd October 2026 9am until 5pm Uddingston Old Parish Church, Old Glasgow Road, Uddingston We know that some people are happy just being the Door Person ... but being the Door Person is a vital role in Godly Play. What happens at the door doesn't stay at the door, it influences the whole session. This training is designed to help Door People understand what's involved in a Godly Play session and the important part they play in making it the best it can be. Discovery Day – Uddingston, Glasgow – 19 September

Discovery Days are a great way to find out about and experience a little bit of Godly Play. We always start with a full Godly Play Session. There is plenty of time for questions, to look at the resources and to wonder about the different types of Godly Play stories. This Discovery Day will be held at Uddingston Old Parish Church, Old Glasgow Road, Uddingston. The day starts at 10am and will finish by 4pm. Godly Play Book Group – Teaching Godly Play

Our autumn Book Group will be reading, wondering about and discussing "Teaching Godly Play. How to Mentor the Spiritual Development of Children", by Jerome W. Berryman. Even if you have already read this a few times, there is always something new ... we are amazed by the new insights we get from discussing these books. Each time we meet, we will read and discuss a chapter or maybe two. This Book Group is hosted by Alex. Our Book Group is on Zoom and will meet on six times, on Wednesday evenings, starting on the 9 September and finishing on the 7 October. We meet between 8pm and 9pm. Circle – Edinburgh – 9 June 7:30pm

Godly Play Circles are a chance to catch up, maybe borrow some story materials, eat some cake (it's Godly Play Scotland's 16th birthday) and, of course, listen to and wonder about a story together. Our story for this circle will be from the collection of GOTT IM SPIEL Jesus Stories - stories written in the style of Godly Play. Everyone is welcome, whether you have been trained in Godly Play or you are new to it and wondering what it is. There is no need to book and there's no charge.
