Resources and materials

We need a little bit of the desert with our Godly Play things, because so many wonderful and important things happened to the people of God in the desert.

Not everyone has space for a desert box, but desert bags fit almost anywhere. They are one of those good investments at the beginning of a Godly Play journey. Godly Play Scotland has been making desert bags since 2008. Our first desert bag is still being used to tell the stories of the People of God.

If you would like to purchase one of our desert bags, you can do that at a Making Materials Day or by clicking the button below - it will take you to the order form.

Or maybe you would like to make your own desert bag ... click the button to download the pattern.

We hope to continue to add a variety of resources on this page including instructional videos, storytelling content and help and guidance on how to set up a Godly Play Room.

For now here are some links to some useful resources over at the Godly Play Foundation and Godly Play UK (Godly Play for England and Wales) websites.
