This is a weekend, non-residential course. It starts at 1pm on Friday 16th October and finishes at 5pm on Sunday 18th October.
The venue is the Godly Play Scotland Centre in Duddingston Kirk Manse.
The Godly Play Storyteller and Door Person Accredited Training is designed to give people a better understanding of both the theory and practice of Godly Play.
The course explores each of the main types of story – sacred, parables and liturgy. We concentrate on the core stories that people usually tell at the beginning of their Godly Play journey. Alongside the stories and wondering, are workshops that explore the theology and theory behind Godly Play.
There is a mixture of trainer led and participant storytelling sessions - so you have the opportunity to tell a story as part of the course and see and wonder about 14 other stories.

Circle – Edinburgh – 7 February
Godly Play Circles are a chance to catch up, maybe borrow some story materials, eat some cake and, of course, listen to and wonder about a story together.
Our story for this circle will be from the collection of GOTT IM SPIEL Jesus Stories - written in the style of Godly Play.
Everyone is welcome, whether you have been trained in Godly Play or you are new to it and wondering what it is.
There is no need to book and there's no charge....
