Godly Play Book Group

Godly Play Book Group

Our first Book Group of 2021 is reading and exploring 'Children's Spirituality. What it is and why it matters', by Dr Rebecca Nye.  This Book Group will be hosted by Alex Mackenzie and Suzanne Dow. Even if you have already read this a few times, there is always something new. Maybe especially when you have the chance to discuss it with like minded souls! Each week we will read and discuss a chapter (or so). Our Book Group is on Zoom and runs over six weeks, starting on Wednesday 3rd February, 8pm-9pm, and finishing on Wednesday 10 March. The groups are small, so we can hopefully all be on screen together, so booking is essential ... Sign me up for the Book Group ......

Discovery Day Online – Liturgical Lessons

Discovery Day Online - Session 3 - Liturgical Lessons Tuesday 2nd February, 2021 - 10:30am-12:30pm Liturgical Lessons is the third of three sessions that, along with the Sacred Story and Parable sessions, are the online equivalent of a Discovery Day.  For when you just can't wait for the in-person events to start again. The Liturgical Lessons session includes hearing, wondering about and responding to one of the Godly Play Liturgical stories or lessons, followed by a chance for you to ask us some questions. The price is £15.  This is the total for all three sessions together, as we want to encourage you to have the whole Discovery Day experience. The price includes some Godly Play resources, so you can get some hands-on experience of these, too. Not enough to tell a story, but enough to hold and play with. Booking is essential - you can do that here....

Godly Play Circle – Zoom

Godly Play Circle - Saturday 30th January, 10am-11:30am Join us for a story, some wondering and some Godly Play chat ... all from the comfort of your own home. It's sad not to be able to meet in person, not to be swapping lending materials, not to be sharing our feast of cake and coffee, but this is a way to see some Godly Play faces, chat, hear and wonder about a story. You just have to bring your own cake ... and coffee or tea ... Numbers are limited, though, because we have found that it is best if everyone can see everyone ... so, it would be great if you can let us know that you are coming along ... and we will send you the Zoom details.  Don't let booking put you off ... we can add in more dates and times if these online Circles fill up. Yes, I'd like to come along ......
