DESCRIPTION:Our autumn Book Group will be reading\, wondering about and discussing “Teaching Godly Play. How to Mentor the Spiritual Development of Children”\, by Jerome W. Berryman. \nEven if you have already read this a few times\, there is always something new … we are amazed by the new insights we get from discussing these books. \nEach time we meet\, we will read and discuss a chapter or maybe two. This Book Group is hosted by Alex. \nOur Book Group is on Zoom and will meet on six times\, on Wednesday evenings\, starting on the 9 September and finishing on the 7 October.  We meet between 8pm and 9pm. \nThe dates are: \n\n2 September – Chapter 1 – Why Play?\n9 September – Chapter 2 – Thresholds\n16 September – Chapter 3 – The Circle\n23 September – Chapter 4 – Response\n30 September – Chapters 5 & 6 – The Feast & Leaving\n7 October – Chapters 7 & 8 – Knowing Godly Play when you see it & Growing as a Godly Play Teacher\n\nIf you don’t have a copy of the book\, don’t let that stop you … we have some to lend out. \nSign me up for the Book Group …

There is plenty of time for questions\, to look at the resources and to wonder about the different types of Godly Play stories. \nThis Discovery Day will be held at Uddingston Old Parish Church\, Old Glasgow Road\, Uddingston.
