SUMMARY:Storyteller and Door Person Accredited Training - Duddingston - 8th-10th September
DESCRIPTION:This is a weekend\, non-residential course. It starts at 1pm on Friday 8th September and finishes at 5pm on Sunday 10th September. \nThe venue is the Godly Play Scotland Centre in Duddingston Kirk Manse. \nThe Godly Play Storyteller and Door Person Accredited Training is designed to give people a better understanding of both the theory and practice of Godly Play. \nThe course explores each of the main types of story – sacred\, parables and liturgy.  We concentrate on the core stories that people usually tell at the beginning of their Godly Play journey.  Alongside the stories and wondering\, are workshops that explore the theology and theory behind Godly Play. \nThere is a mixture of trainer led and participant storytelling sessions – so you have the opportunity to tell a story as part of the course and see and wonder about 14 other stories. \nGodly Play Storyteller and Door Person training courses fit a lot in\, so the days are long. This is especially true of this course\, as it is over a weekend. We will work late on Friday and even later on Saturday\, then we have a full day on Sunday. \nThe cost of this course is from £315.  This includes a course handbook\, lunches\, dinner on Saturday evening and refreshments. \nWe are offering early bird (10%) discount for bookings made before 30th June\, and second mouse* (5%) discount for booking made between then and 10th July. \nBook here …\n \nIf you want to know more about this course\, please get in touch with Alex. \n \n  \n* the early bird might get the worm\, but the second mouse gets the cheese!
