SUMMARY:Godly Play Accredited Storyteller & Door Person Training - Spring Saturdays 2024
DESCRIPTION:This Storyteller and Door Person Accredited Training Course runs over four Saturdays in the Spring and early Summer of 2024. \n6th April\n4th May\n1st June \nWe’ll arrange the fourth Saturday when we meet on the 6th April. \nEach day starts at 9:30am and finishes by 4:30pm. \nThe venue is the Godly Play Room at Cramond Kirk Halls\, part of Edinburgh Northwest Kirk. \nThe Godly Play Storyteller and Door Person Accredited Training is designed to give people a better understanding of both the theory and practice of Godly Play. \nThe course explores each of the main types of story – sacred\, parables and liturgy.  We concentrate on the core stories that people usually tell at the beginning of their Godly Play journey.  Alongside the stories and wondering\, are workshops that explore the theology and theory behind Godly Play. \nThere is a mixture of trainer led and participant storytelling sessions – so you have the opportunity to tell a story as part of the course and see and wonder about 14 other stories. \nUsually the Storyteller and Door Person training courses have long days\, but running this course over four days offers a more relaxed pace and a some space for reflection. \nThe cost of this course is from £315.  This includes a course handbook\, lunches\, dinner on Saturday evening and refreshments. \nWe are offering early bird (10%) discount for bookings made before 9th February\, and second mouse* (5%) discount for booking made between then and 8th March. \nBook here …\n \nIf you want to know more about this course\, please get in touch with Alex. \n* the early bird might get the worm\, but the second mouse gets the cheese!
