Our 3rd Godly Play Scotland Conference is taking place on the 13th and 14th November 2020 at Portobello & Joppa Parish Church in Edinburgh. Dr Rebecca Nye - who, with Peter Privett, brought Godly Play to the UK - will be our guest speaker. Rebecca will share a bit about her own experience of childhood spirituality and explore the importance of an adult culture that believes in childhood spirituality. Circle (network) meetings – an optional extra? Not for me!  I came off the planning group nearly a year ago, and from being deep in the thick of planning, organising and presenting, I’m now for the most part just working away in my own small corner like most of you.  And I’m realising how important it is not to become isolated and forget the wider picture.  When I realised how much I was looking forward to the meeting we had last Saturday, it dawned on me that I’m so out of the loop.  If you are not one of the lucky ones working with a team of Godly Players, you’ll find, like me, that it can be ages since you’ve actually talked “Godly Play” to anyone.
